FANTASY GROUNDS 2 WEB ICON ON MODULES UPDATE
Always update FG so right now FG Classic v3.3.10, 5e ruleset, no extensions.
The most common instance for us is not using images of maps, simply creating a new base map (I don't DM so I'm not sure what this is called in FG, just the blank grey map with a grid) and adding tokens for positional purposes with occasional drawn objects.

I don't run any special AV or security software - just the built-in Windows Defender and Firewall (and they don't have any notifications or anything) What version, ruleset and extensions is the GM using?- Win10 64-bit How large is the image, in pixels, the GM is sharing? Have you checked your anti-virus and security to see if they are showing any warnings? What is the process size of FantasyGrounds.exe when you are connected to your GMs table/game?
Scenarios first published years before FGU even launched continue to work. This change has been managed without breaking everything. FGU is now out, stable, and with some significant extra features, most notably lighting and image handling in general.
FANTASY GROUNDS 2 WEB ICON ON MODULES 32 BIT
What operating system are you using? 32 bit or 64 bit? Fantasy Grounds has changed the most in the last 18 months. Welcome to the forums, sorry you are having trouble. Check out Fantasy Grounds Unity for the latest version of the software with the most features. What's left to try?ĮDIT: Problem was fixed upon DM changing to a new ISP (for unrelated reasons), it appears something was going wrong between his old ISP and my own. Fantasy Grounds is a hybrid application which allows you to play and create your own RPG games. I've also tried clearing the cache and every other fix I've seen posted online. I've tried on 3 different systems (2 physical computers but I've recently reinstalled my OS on one of them for an unrelated issue), the reinstall fixed an issue I had with loading modules (they seem to work fine now). Started a new campaign with the same DM and players I've played with in other campaigns, I'm the only one having this issue. Prior to roughly 3-4 months ago I had no issues and everything seemed to work fine. Additionally the player token that isn't loading doesn't appear in the Tokens window, however there's an empty space that looks like a token should be there. I do not see anything in the console.log or update.log that relates to this problem.Issue: Maps don't load properly - DM will draw stuff and it never appears (even on general maps that don't have an image), one players token won't load, multiple attempts are necessary to sometimes load map images. In task manager, the FantasyGrounds.exe and FGUpdaterEngine.exe are both running, but no UI window pops up and no internet traffic occurs (ie no updating happening in the background). I can host a game, I can join a game, just no updates. But if I turn on 3, Ransomware Protection, two things happen: I have to double click the desktop icon twice in order for the program to start up (instead of the usual once), and also I can no longer update FGU. Problem: I can have 1, 2 and 4 enabled and everything works fine. There are 4 modules to Malwarebytes Premium: If you simply update to the most recent version of the 5e module in Fantasy grounds, there are check boxes on the left side of each spell on the actions tab.
I'm not sure if ya'll are interested in program compatibility reports or not this early on but here is one for Malwarebytes:įGU v4.0.0 Ultimate (upgraded to latest on 1)
